He did not say anything about fulfilling multiple purposes. PB + jeep is about as good as Sorc + IG (and terrors) when it comes to killing a pom.

I would not agree with you. PBs are considerably easier to block than Sorcs if you're a POM. Besides which IG are magnitudes better flak than Jeeps + terrors. Having been on both sides of the equation, as a POM i'm much more afraid of the Sorcs than the PBs. Maybe that's just me but i think the route is far more dangerous.

Jeeps are 40k, terrors are 28k, Golems are 30k. Jeeps don't excel as anything other than LET flak, terrors excel really only at killing flak. Golems combine both those abilities, into a cheaper unit. While Sorcs are considerably more expensive than PBs, I find that they do more damage and are more versatile and harder to kill than PBs. I.e. Worth the money. Not to mention the fact that if you mass Jeeps + PBs + Terrors you're dead meat for a variety of opponents; whereas an evenly balanced Sorc player is nigh on untouchable without a lot of enemy firepower coming towards them. I know which route I would prefer; but opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one.

As a 1v1 in terms of killing POMs, Sorcs is the hands down winner. I don't really see any significant competition.

I always used Hooligans & PB myself. It keeps me nimble and speedy! I've played both, and always enjoyed PB alot more (the inclusion of TL sway it as a stealth rushing unit).

I've played without paying for a PU, and with paying for a PU, and I will say PB/CG are my solid favourites for route choice. Whilst they may not really 'specialize' against anything in particular, both routes have their individual purposes, and I prefer to play PB as a 'guerilla warfare' style player, than be the non-specialist tanking route that is Dragons/Sorc.

Jeeps aren't even good lethal flak.. too expensive. They don't die easily, but they are one of the most expensive units you can buy for the route (with the TL being the only more expensive)

I'd rather have IG/Sorc for killing poms than PB/Biker. I even prefer the dragon route as a whole over TL, but then, I prefer troops that can withstand a hit

Hooligan : Iron Golem = 1:0.5
PoM : PB = 1:1.2
Hooligan : Gardener = 1:0.7

If you have people in your alliance that are competent, you can slot PB in that incredibly nifty initiative placing between Rangers and Apaches (consider also that *normally* by this point all the flak is either dead/distracted/disabled).

Either way, both routes are very potent - But I find Sorc to be a very 'bit of everything' route. I rate it as one of the best P-solo routes (alongside Nanos).

EDIT: Also, think of the possibilities that a 3-way triangle of the 3 Thug routes could accomplish? A terrifying combination of ETA 3 staff that can kill, disable, LETflak and steal incredibly quickly & effectively!

Yes PB do have their uses (I'm not disputing that!) I'm just saying Sorcs do it better

Btw - hoolis are an epic Anti-Armor unit.. They get about 2.3:1 on Harriers, pretty bloody efficient. closer to 3:1 when you throw flak in there.

PB is always more efficient at killing PoMs than IG/Sorc. Even when flak is taken into consideration. Sorcs cost twice as much as PBs, flak isn't as important as people think, poms don't stop PB that well either, and you have the benefit of eta 3.

I guess I'd rather jus have a route that doesn't die when someone looks at it askance. Even accounting for the extra cost of Sorcs I'd still prefer them.

I'm crappy enough to require a route that can survive more than one tick against practically anything. PBs are just too fragile for my inability to play efficiently, brute force all the way!

Doesn't really prove anything, as no one posted what was sent.. Lots of talk about the ratio after that though. Tis why I remember. If you want to see it for yourself, test it..

I've made a guild in a app game i play called "Avatar Fight" the guild i have made is called "www.bushtarion.com" so i'm trying to ask anyone with a smartphone to d/l this free game, log on, join my guild so i get more members to push up the ranks and be seen. I personally spend a lot of time on this game everyday. And i will keep trying to find it members.
