• Those wishing to contribute to the game by making suggestions (both small and large) should read the following before doing so.

    Bushtarion largely runs completely automatically, and has been designed intentionally to be as self-maintaining as possible, with mechanics and balance considered at a completed point.

    Please do not spend large amounts of time coming up with complex suggestions in the hope that they will be read and possibly implemented in the future, unless you just enjoy the discussion, theory-craft, and such.

    The most likely changes will be rules-changes, specific number-tweaks to units, techs, and similar sorts of changes, and only if a large community consensus is reached as "proof" that a change would, overall, be an improvement, and are more likely to be done in batches, occassionally, not as a regular thing.

Its like he is dead. We know he is not, but it amounts to the same thing. He is gone from this world, and he is never coming back.

Well it seems that way at this stage.

He basically started working on some RPG a while ago. And whats he up to now? Well, it's one of the mysteries of the universe.

Yeah i was arround when he was about talking about it but can't the games Mod's etc get hold of him? or does anyone actually have the access to update the game? :S because people are making suggestions but theres no point if they can't be implemented into the game.....

Waste of time even discussing it IMO.

I think some people have contact with him. No-one else has access to update game (apart from manual as far as im aware). Im not sure he is interested in having anything to do with it at the moment.

That's correct - none of the Mods or helpers have access to modify the game itself, only the Manual.

He did appoint a Community Manager (Weeble) at one point, but I'm not sure what access (if any) he gave him to the game.

Weeble was basically a go-between anyway, a go between that neglected the main discussion centre of the game, IRC, making him a terrible choice of Community Manager, but ahh well, I've harked on about that plenty of times already :p

I believe Weeble has/had admin access to the game itself but I could be wrong.

Azzer came back quick enough a while ago when Lafin changed his user nickname to Azzer to change that. He also goes on Facebook daily...

Oh he's about and people can contact him, he just responds to those he favours and wants to talk to.

More than a while ago, I started playing this game in late 04 and even then his RPG was a long running joke that he'd been working on it for ages.

I've been in touch within the past 6 weeks or so. The easy answer to this question is that Azzer is still around and pops in on the game from time to time - He is also available to moderators if something troubling happens (see Martin's post)

The longer, harder answer is that he is not as willing as he used to be to actively update the game and play a role in the community. He has his own reasons for this, the speculation of such reasons is a waste of time and generally unhelpful so I'm going to leave it at that.

With regard to the first post re: suggestions - As moderators we cannot rule out Azzer turning up next week and having a good look through the suggestions made over the past couple of years so this sub-forum will remain open (not least because moderators don't have the power to close it anyway :p)
