Calling any players from Amsterdam (or Holland)

I'm gonna be going to Amsterdam for a week in just over a week and I was wondering a few things. Firstly do any of you know a website or websites which has things like live music/comedy etc listed so I can see whats on when we're over there, and also (this is where it may help being from amsterdam) any tips about areas where its cheaper to eat than the centre, or indeed any specific restaurants/cafes (much as I love steak dinners for 20euros, we can't eat that every night :p) Any advice appreciated, thanks :)

Well there is a website, www.ilocal.nl Its a search website, wich u can type in: Restaurant, Amsterdam. And u get lots of restaurants of it, whit a map of were it is in amsterdam, some results have a internet link towards the restaurant and u can look up their menu/prices.

This can be done whit alot, supermarket, cafe's, coffeshops, anything!

On the bottom bit on the right, there is a link to get the site in english!

Hope u have a good time! And if u get bored go to Arnhem, 1:10 whit the train :rainbowafro:

A lot of restaurants in the Center, Jordaan and de Pijp tend to cater to the Tourist or Yuppie crowds so are a bit more expensive so go have a look but dont eat.
