Round 28 was pretty bad as well. I didn't play round 27. I just remember in round 28 having literally no allied targets, and most of the top 200 being solo.

Poms actually do decently solo. They only have a few real weakness' and are good against alot of the round considering another 30% of the round goes secret agents and Poms totally Pwn them. Poms are one of the better routes in the game IMO.

POMs are annoying to play solo because people (used to) just biker bash you and get a land train set up to steal all your land. Always a rather objectionable thing to have happen to you. I imagine it must be a bit tougher now as well considering the reduction in AD, although the boost for HD must be a relatively nice compensation.

I don't deny POM is a good route. But solo POM doesn't work. True, I don't get zeroed often, but it's almost impossible to retain land when you're getting 350mil flak sent at you repeatedly until you or your pNAPs go offline.

that's why you just keep finding targets and raping them. if you're online and getting attacked send out and attack a couple different targets so you make more land than you lose

Hypnos is the obvious way to stop it from happening, but I don't want to purchase when it's almost halfway through the round So I guess it's my own fauilt for being stingy

My friend who i'm training this round, (its his first round) is going PoM with Hypnos and up until recently has been top 50 Solo. Stopped every attack on him with only the help of a Puppet Master without Puppets and very little troops. Maybe try doing something different?
