No offense, but its hardly an achievement when they can't attack you...

Why cant they attack him? (Am i missing something...?)

And tbh, he's doing ALOT of damage alone, with vamps (not the easiest route to do it with...)

They could always like, y'know, defend or something? it's not like vamps don't reveal eta 3 or anything....

He has 9 land :p

You can pull when there is too much defence :p

Therefore you can't really lose the fight...;)

Easy enough to trick someone into thinking real defence is fake and vice versa; but i do admit it makes it a little harder when you can't attack him.

in retrospect, the leader probably should've just given him the ability to write mobnotes, don't you think? ;)

You're right, I can't be attacked. My income - because of that - is zero. I can't really suicide when I have no income, so I have to be extra cautious :p

They're all armor towards the top of the ranks now... or defending the HQ. I need to find some striker/RPG player to help me take down their HQ now :p

EDIT: Because I don't send geos (9 land) they don't HAVE to fight me. They can just plant their seeds and send away. Lots of pros and cons to having 9 land :(

probably a few more heh.

however, i don't see an issue with blocking someone with less than 10-12 acres from starting devs. should fix it.

I always wondered why that existed, was it to protect 'newbies' or 'new accounts' from getting hit? If that is the case, then them not being able to dev would fix it; or simply remove the 'unable to hit under 10 acres' thing after a certain amount of time has expired for the account. After say, 2 weeks, you're either not going to play this account, or you're trying to abuse the rule and thus should be fair game.

How in the world is this abusing rules? There is no rule against it. There are many pros and many cons to having 9 acres.

If there was a rule to prevent this, I would not be able to do it or I would have been asked not to.

It takes a lot more time and/or money to do it. It takes some level of skill to do it successfully.

it's not abusing rules, it's abusing a loophole in game mechanics.

We're not saying it doesn't take time/skill/money or effort to do this (although the skill/effort/time part is debatable), just that it abuses a loophole (or an exploit if you will) in the game mechanics to the detriment of the playerbase.

it probably is/was a saftey valve that i've never really questioned, but then there hasn't been a need to question it.

probably saved new people from being mugged on sight... but since most everyone understands that this is about acres... i don't see anyone stealing from anyone else at such a low acre count.

in the beginning of a round, could it be devastating if someone was picking on you sure... but to even get the 100 wheels or so that would be needed would require a little bit of time at the start and i don't know anyone that starts that would stay at 5 acres.

if they've not started, then they've not filled up their acres...

i just can't conceive of a scenario that anyone would want to mill around waiting to go for an acre or 2 at round start. the income loss is minimal if it happened and surely even a full grab from wheels that if the acre steal is rounded down... then it will take 12 acres at minimum to be able to lose even 1 acre.

i'm thinking this is an old protection that isn't generally needed anymore?
