Every so often the spam area will be cleaned - all but the top few threads deleted. It will not be treated like any other area on the forum (ie with dignity and respect to posts!).
You may not begin spamming other areas to get a high post count and maintain your post count. Any silly conversations, one word replies, replies that are simply saying "I agree", etc. etc. etc. on any thread anywhere else on the forums will result in me deleting the post and dropping your post-count by TEN for every spam post I must delete that is not in the Spam area. You have been warned!
Post counts are to reflect active useful members, not spammers. If you are a helpful active member of the forums, that get involved in intelligent discussions, help players out by giving kind responses, give sensible reasonable suggestions and bug reports, then your post count will go up, stay up, and reflect your status on the forums. Post counts from spamming are something I frown upon (if this is the sole reason you spam - for a post count - then simply give in and stop posting!) - and therefore I treat any spammers post count as a moot point, and will happily wipe it/lower it without any worries.
Hope this is clear guys and gals - the spam area is here for you to talk all the crap you seem to need to talk, not to get a high post count and maintain it.
