Route changes/balancing out already

Found these in the manual ;)

Protester - extemist, hits close only, 6* AD (think Fanatic been given HD boost too)
- Rebel now stuns, target LET only, Lower init, 3* HD 2* AD
- VD's 3* H, 1*A, 1*HD, 3* AD, targeting change to NLD -NLT - LET

Military - Paras, Targeting change to NLT-LET ALL, 3* armor 3*AD 1*h,1*HD, cost now 32k

Spec ops - Steel wall replaced with armoured car unit, (basicly same but now moves and has slower Init)
- Bunker+sentry AD and HD reduced to 5* respectively, Only 1 star on HD/AD respectively too, and cost lowered.
- chem sprayer replaced with stealth gardner
- (may be change to sleepers too but not sure)

Robo - crazed droid target all, cost more, hit close 2*HD, 2*AD
- sheildies eta 3 and target all as 2ndary target.

Thug - TL now has 3* armour and armour damage
- arsonist is now a NLT unit , 179 init 4*AD, 2*HD targets NLD-all
- (think terrorists weaker but not sure, think lost either an AD* or armour *)

And for the biggest route change FANTASY HAS BEEN TOTALY REVAMPED!!!

fantasy - dragon now 5*armour, 2* health
- siren now 2*HP, 3*AR, 4*HD,2*AD cost 50k
- sorcs now 2*HP,4*AR,2*HD,4*AD cost 58k
- witch now 4*HP, 2*AR

Check it out for yourselves and add to the changes, im sure i will have missed some :p

Just a note to all reading this (who werent about when we were talking about it last night).

These changes are still in testing, thats why there has been no official announcement. So the stats on the manual may well change depending on how testing goes.

Azzer will be putting up an Update list as usual when changes are finalised.

Just to point out Terrors have not been changed, they never did have 2* AD

And Witches got the boost but lost its bonus against TL's.

My first thoughs:
Rebels as a stun-unit: makes them more of a target for early puppeteers, as stun-units are always welcome!

And Armour cars in stead of steel walls is magic! For one thing, makes sending away much less painfull! And a much better flaking unit for puppetmasters rather than using cheap bribed stuff, or ninjas (which kills to much)

OMG!!!!

just read...Vampires now cost 75k...as if the route was not **** enough being as it lost its conversion ratios a few rounds back..not it cost more...if you wanna stop SA players might aswell just go Rangers and use them :s do more damage and take less damage and cost less :s

Now Vamps will be even more vicious, like that route needed a boost! :p

Sorcs now looks more like a target for RPG/Striker route, with the added armour, intentional?

Shields will be much more popular bribing target for RO-players with the lower ETA.

TLs needed a boost, and arsonists might be more useful now.

I like the concept of stealth gardener... the all-stealth-SA option is much stonger now.

CDs targeting ALL is bad news for PoMs I think!

I'm going to lock this thread because frankly without an official announcement;

* Some things may change as it's being playtested currently (a few changes have already taken places throughout the day today from playtest feedback)
* LOTS of changes were made - and a number of changes are either done in a way that didn't affect the * ratings (so you won't see the change just from looking at the manual), or will simply be missed by those trying to browse the manual.
* Without knowing all of the changes, it would be silly to discuss the down or upsides of particular changes - as some changes are made because of (or thanks to) other changes in a route/unit, and they work together as a whole.

Once playtesting on the new balance stuff is complete, an announcement on the changes will be made, and somebody can make a thread that actually has all the real, and accurate, data then ;)
