Mattheus, Fox, I understand your viewpoints completely - You both have very valid arguments and it's likely a lot of people will share your perspective on this.

All I'm trying to do here is ensure everyone has a say. Given the fact that a few people have raised concerns. Azzer needs to get an idea just how many people this impacts on, and whether those involved are even bothered they aren't around for round start.

It may well be you're right, that there isn't a big enough percentage of the playerbase to merit the round being delayed further. But there's no harm in checking, right?

Let's all try to remain calm, Please , thanks Bai :)
!

This is a discussion based solely on whether or not you are happy with the new round commencing Friday 13th February. We understand many of you have differing opinions, but please try and:
  • think about it from other people's perspectives
  • be civil and polite in your responses
  • not allow this thread to degenerate into insults and angry remarks!

Before you reply, take a deep breath, make sure what you're saying is new and useful and then allow yourself to hit the 'Post' button.

Thanks!

How long did we wait to actually see the new age 5 ?

That wasn't the question pinpower was asking. He was asking what the big difference was between February 13th and February 20th, which is only a week. If he had said that it doesn't matter if the round doesn't start for another month then you might've had a point. If you honestly cannot wait another week for Age 5 then I suggest you take a trip to Bushaholics Anonymous.

My point is that we have all waited a month cause of a delay and when the round gets delayed again for another week it will probably annoy some if not most of the people

I'm sure people would understand if it was for a good reason. If not...well I doubt any of them know Azzer's address to go and murder him in his sleep.

Aye ofcourse, with this I agree. What I didn't agree with was the statement which I quoted above. Infact I am sure a lot of the pople who are voting to change the date have reasons, different than 14 february.

I would also like to ask you how many times have the date been changed? Do you consider all the people who are getting a couple up to a week days off work just for the round start? I know atleat 3 people who have changed the starting dates of their days off work just for bushtarion, but let the poll go and we will see the results eventually.

I have to point out that any further delays on a new round also hurts my pocket - keep in mind that without a "normal round", there have been little to no people buying Bush Credits. This has been going for some time. It is not in my - and thus the games - interest to delay the round any further than is necessary.

"Necessary" being the key operative word there.

People actually book time off work for this? Oh dear...For these people the round should definately be pushed back a week just to teach them a lesson! lol

I can see why people don't want the round to be delayed and without server delays we wouldn't be in this position now. But I planned ahead for the start of this round and managed to keep my time free, up until valentines. Now that the round starts on the 13th I have been totally screwed over by this and tbh this annoyed me quite abit.

I understand people do not want any further delays but then why should others be punished for something completly out of their control. (Yes, women rule the world now and you all know it)

For a large percentage ( Probably not a majority ) this is probably the equivilant of starting the round on a friday before new years or Christmas. Or for an even better example on the weekend of a bush meet. Oh wait wasn't their a round that got delayed just for a reason like that? That could not have been more than 20-30 people and Azzer that the round got delayed for. Im sure this start date will effect a larger percentage of the player base than that weekend did.

Not only was I not the one that caused Valentine's Day to exist, but I won't be unavailable because of it.

Admin causing the absence of a group of players due to an officially arranged meet announced way in advance and the admin being not present himself = relatively good reason to delay.

Commercialised day = not a good reason.

Im just saying that it could effect more people than that date did. I know in the end of the day its not your fault, and you are only trying to get the round going asap for the majority of people in the round and in the end of the day I'll get over it. I was just annoyed when i found out the start date, that i had freed myself up for 2-3 weeks before hand, had been delayed for a further week even after testing.

Commercialised day

Completley agree with you btw, just wish my girlfriend saw it that way.

For me it's not only about not wanting another delay, it just irks me a little that some people would want the round delayed for everyone else just because they can't bear missing 1 day, possibly 2 at the most.
Hell, go enjoy valentines, get a good night out of it from your respective partners. But don't expect us to wait while you do so? :p

I voted to delay the start not because I won't be able to get on that weekend, I just feel that age 5 is meant to be a big thing for bushtarion and is there to draw in more people etc. So the game should be at it's best... so I propose delaying it a week to continue with hardcore testing to make sure this game is ok! And of course an extra week to draw in more loyal customers... We've waited this long for age 5 what's one more week?

ffs, what's the problem? If valentines day is more important to you, then go do that. But why the hell should everyone else wait for you?
This isn't a dig at azzer, but we've waited long enough for age 5. It was meant to start in the new year iirc, but there's been like 3 mini rounds, delays, a test round, and now people want it delayed even more so they can wine and dine with their partners without missing their beloved round start? No thank you. Azzer's never wavered before on start times, why start now?

Totally agree with Cheese here...it doeant actually hurt anyone if the round is delayed by another week (except maybe Azzer's pocket) but it WILL give us more time testing, more time to get new players in and make it so the first round of this awesome new bushtarion is the best it can be! Like cheese said, whats another week?.
