as any alliance existed for 20 rounds without a break under the same leader, dont think so

that in itself is an achievement

Bushtarion without Discworld just wouldnt be Bushtarion

DW is almost a hard coded feature of the game now!!!! cant change that and it should be recognised!!!!

Which in this respect is about as relevant as the fact that you can't download ringtones to a banana...


(For those readers who have not yet grasped the concept of irony: I here cleverly point out with the help of auxesis that no one have claimed or asserted that DW is "best" whatever that may be... Rather the point being that they are Discworld and have kept it going for 20 rounds, which should be a good opportunity for a silly little tip of the hat like the proposed renaming.)

Really now, does a spy report saying 20 mill SAS is arriving from the night watch of ankh-morpok [1] mean anything different than it does by saying arriving from police hq of the government [1] ?

Plus how many new players actually know that ID 1 is an admin account the moment they start playing unless they've actually read the manual BEFORE signing up an account? Or even know what the HQ units are since they aren't in the manual to start with?

You mean it annoys you that people remember Discworld and still will after it's gone.

It makes me proud when I see and old timer pop into the channel and mention that they are glad to see Discworld still around.

Do they ever say "Glad to see Cyrus is till around?" ? I don't recall that ever happening but it's possible I could of missed it if it did.

Really, I don't see why you have to be such a case of sour grapes. It boggles me why this would get under your skin so much.

the change of name for id 1 doesnt matter to me, but i think the cause for it is a wonderfull thing...its amazing that 1 ally existed so long under the same leader in the game, and it deserves a (simple) reward like this

alci my ego is big enough without someone telling me they're glad im still here, many oldies come chat to me and say hey long time no see, that to me shows that they're glad im still here. i find it rather amusing that most people that think im a bunch of sour grapes or a noob whatever, have never played with me and been involved with anything ive done.

i find this stuff pointless to the game, its not acheiving anything, infact its prolly more to do with asmo wanting his e-penis abit bigger...
